There is no single price for DJ hire in Nairobi, and any company that quotes you a figure before asking about your event is guessing. What you pay depends on a handful of practical factors, and understanding them helps you brief suppliers properly and compare quotations fairly.

What changes the price

• Hours on site — a four-hour birthday and a twelve-hour wedding are different jobs.
• Whether the DJ brings sound, or plays through a system already at the venue.
